Andrew Walter (Member, Advisory Board)

Andrew loves this country, its traditions and what it stands for.  He relishes every opportunity to serve the greatest members of our society, the military service members.  Past and present, he knows their sacrifice has allowed the United States of America to become the greatest society in human history.  He is honored to be apart of Vet Tix.

Born in Scottsdale, AZ on May 11, 1982, Andrew went to high school in Grand Junction, CO where he played quarterback.  He earned a full scholarship to Arizona State University where he finished his career as one of the top quarterbacks in school history.  He set almost every Arizona State career and single-season record for passing and total offense.  He shattered the Pac-10 career touchdown record with 85, breaking the 22-year-old mark held by John Elway who had 77 career TD passes at Stanford (1979-82).  Andrew also finished fifth on the Pac-10's career charts for passing yards (10,617 yards) and third for total offense (10,142 yards).  He finished his career as ASU's career leader in passing yards, completions, attempts, touchdowns, interception percentage and total offense.  Andrew was most humbled by fact he was voted a co-captain in each of his last three seasons at ASU, all while earning his undergraduate degree in Communication in four years.

Andrew was drafted by the Oakland Raiders in the 3rd round, with the 69th pick overall.  He started in 9 games with the Raiders.  He finished his NFL career with the New England Patriots in 2009.  Andrew hoped to use football as a springboard to jump into the rest of his life and he has been blessed to achieve that.  He is now enrolled in the WP Carey School of Business MBA program at Arizona State University.  He plans to earn an emphasis in Marketing, Management, and/or Finance by his graduation date of May 2012.

Brent Hatley (Member, Advisory Board)

Brent Hatley has worked side-by-side with controversial radio personality Bubba the Love Sponge® since 2000.  During this time, Brent has managed all aspects of the show: booking and coaching talent, overseeing content and commercial production, supervising staff, and performing as an on-air talent alongside Bubba.

Since January 2006, he has been Executive Producer and Co-Host of the Bubba the Love Sponge® Show on Sirius Satellite Radio channel Howard 101 (3 pm to 7 pm ET Mon-Thurs and 10 am to 2 pm ET Friday).  Since January 2008, Brent has also produced the show for the Bubba Radio Network’s syndicated terrestrial radio stations, and the show has been the #1 rated morning show in the Tampa-Clearwater-St. Petersburg market.

Prior to their work on Sirius, Brent was Executive Producer and on-air member of Bubba the Love Sponge® Show on various stations owned by Clear Channel Communications and Jacor Communications, including WXTB/Tampa. During this time they received Radio and Records’ “Morning Show of the Year” award, among others.  Prior to that, Brent worked on the WTBT/Tampa morning show, from 1997 to 2000.  Brent’s radio background includes such positions as sports director and marketing director, in addition to positions in promotions, news and production.

Brent was also campaign manager and chief of staff for the much-publicized 2004 Bubba for Sheriff® of Pinellas County, Florida campaign, for which Bubba captured 30% of the vote.

As a member of the US Marine Corps, Brent served in Operation Desert Storm as an Aviation/Flight Operations Specialist/Gunner-Observer, the latter in CH-53E helicopters. He also received a Navy Achievement Medal for his efforts.

Brent is known for being well-read and continually educates himself about a wide array of topics.  A loyal University of Florida fan, Brent can talk sports with the best of them, both on the college and the professional level, and currently trains in Muy Thai and Jiu Jitsu (mixed martial arts). Brent is also a major history and politics buff.  He and his wife, Amanda, reside in the Tampa/St. Petersburg area.
